Nolan McCarthy, P.E.

Nolan McCarthy is a registered fire protection engineer who has been working in the industry since 2007. Before coming to Harrington Group, he served as a Fire Protection Engineer for AMEC and a Fire Protection Designer for MPW, Frankfurt Short Bruza, and Ryan Fire Protection. He specializes in developing fire protection solutions for various facility types including office buildings, aircraft hangars, distribution centers, industrial plants, high-rise buildings, and data centers. Nolan’s area of expertise include system design, calculations, drawings and specifications, submittal reviews, and construction administration. 

Nolan earned his MS in Fire Protection Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, as well as his BS in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University. In addition to being a licensed fire protection engineer in several states, he also earned Level II certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Fire Protection Engineering Technology, Water-Based Systems Layout.
