Courtney Beyer is Harrington Group’s newest Project Coordinator, but she’s certainly not new to this type of work. The New Jersey native spent the last 18 years in a similar position for an HVAC company, facilitating complex projects from bid to closeout, so she’s well versed in the organization and communication skills the job entails.
Since starting with Harrington Group in early August, Courtney said she’s eager to soak up as much knowledge as possible so she can provide the level of support needed by her team. The company reflects her values, she said, and she’s thrilled to join an industry with such an important, meaningful mission of safety.
“I can’t wait to contribute and be more helpful,” she said during her first week on the job, between meet-and-greets with her new colleagues. “I love having the answers for people and helping people, and I can’t wait until I can get to that point.”
Joining the growing team at HGI also means that after two decades of a lengthy daily commute — often up to an hour and a half each way, depending on traffic — Courtney has transitioned to working remotely. And work-from-home life suits her. Less time in the car means more time riding her horse, Ralphie, through the woods on her property, taking her yellow lab, Harley, down to the pond, and hanging out with her husband, Michael.
