Welcome Jason Pertmer, Our Newest Fire Protection Engineer!
We’re excited to welcome Jason to the team as a Fire Protection Engineer! Jason brings a strong background in mechanical engineering, having earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in sunny Orlando. With several years of experience under his belt, Jason is passionate about fire protection and particularly enjoys the intricate work of sprinkler design.
Jason joins us with a keen desire to grow professionally and is eager to learn from the wealth of experience across our team. He’s excited to be part of a collaborative environment where knowledge is freely shared, and complex challenges are tackled together. Jason mentioned, “There’s so much experience on my team alone— I’m looking forward to learning from everyone and everything I can.”
Outside of work, life is full and exciting for Jason and his wife—they’re currently getting their home ready to welcome their baby girl in August! It’s an exciting time, and we’re happy to have him joining HGI during such a special chapter in life. When he’s not working or preparing for parenthood, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Weekends often include relaxing trips to the river on a pontoon boat, and with the beach just over an hour away, it’s no surprise that coastal getaways are also a favorite!
