We’re glad to see a familiar face return to HGI. Welcome back, Jesse Piotrowicz!

While Jesse is technically one of our newest hires, many longtime Harrington Group, Inc. team members may remember him from his first chapter with Harrington Group from 2019 to 2022. Now, he’s returning as our Director of Operations, bringing with him years of additional experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong passion for helping HGI continue to grow.

Jesse’s path into fire protection engineering wasn’t exactly a straight line. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer with an interest in power generation, he discovered the world of risk engineering at a career fair and was immediately intrigued. The opportunity to travel, solve problems, and help clients prevent losses sparked a passion that ultimately led him into fire protection engineering, a field he says has felt like home ever since.

When Jesse first joined HGI, he was drawn to the company’s commitment to quality, client service, and doing things the right way. After spending several years expanding his experience with larger organizations and clients across the power generation and renewable energy industries, he realized something important: he loves helping clients, but he also finds it very rewarding to help create an environment where others can thrive as they bring their talents to solve problems and to help give them the flexibility to deliver great service without losing sight of what matters.

That’s what made returning to HGI such an easy decision.

In his new role, Jesse is focused on helping the company grow in a way that’s both ambitious and sustainable. He’s excited to work alongside the team to strengthen communication, improve processes, and support the people who make HGI special.

Outside of work, Jesse and his wife, Elise, live in Stone Mountain, Georgia, with their son, Caedmon, their dog, Muffin, and cat, Jello. Jesse enjoys gardening with his family, spending time with his neighbors (who happen to be his terrific parents-in-law), and rediscovering his love of music through piano lessons, accompanying his wife and son who play viola and violin, and being involved in local music groups.

We’re excited to have Jesse back on the team and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make in this next chapter. Welcome back, Jesse!
