Harrington Group, Inc. is seeking senior lead engineers to join our team. This position offers long-term career growth potential and will work within the team to solve real world fire protection problems.

SUMMARY

The Senior Lead Engineer (“Senior LE”) is an experienced engineering professional who independently leads the performance of engineering tasks on various projects from start to finish with very little guidance and direction from the PM. This is a “journeyman” level position requiring the use of mature engineering judgment and effective management/ delegation principles. The Senior LE provides senior-level, hands-on engineering guidance to deliver the Best Total Solution to clients. The Senior LE normally works with Lead Engineers and Staff Engineers to achieve the orderly completion of all project activities in alignment with engineering standards, quality standards, and other objectives established for the project. The Senior LE independently handles most (if not all) of the technical and engineering tasks on a project normally handled by the PM, allowing the PM to focus primarily on the administrative project management tasks. Additionally, the Senior LE will generally be a subject matter expert in one or more specialty areas of fire protection engineering, thereby becoming a technical resource and mentor for others in the company. The Senior LE also develops and maintains trusted relationships with clients and others by embodying HGI’s Core Values.
