Here at Harrington Group, Inc., we are fortunate to be experiencing a period of growth. As our industry continues to evolve, we’ve made it a priority to hire and train the best and the brightest, and we’re thrilled to introduce Fraser Bronston as one of our newest Fire and Explosion Protection Consultant!

Fraser grew up in Tyler, Texas, a mid-sized city about 100 miles east of Dallas. He graduated from Auburn University in 2018 with a degree in chemical engineering, and went on to work for a chemical company doing process data management.

While Fraser was aware of fire protection as an engineering field, it wasn’t until he began looking into a position at Harrington Group that he considered it as an option for himself.

“The ability to really solve practical problems that help clients and potentially make a real difference and prevent a disaster is something I can feel good about doing. It’s important,” said Fraser.

With his chemical background, Fraser’s role at Harrington Group will involve developing systems to prevent dust explosions. He and Jacob Ammons, a fellow chemical engineering graduate who was hired around the same time, have paired up to read and learn about general fire protection, fire and building codes, and explosive dusts.

“We’ve both really benefited from having someone else to bounce information off of,” Fraser said. “It’s adjacent to what we learned in college, but an entirely different field.”

Fraser looks forward to building a foundation and developing his career with Harrington Group.

“It’s exciting to be a part of a team where I can hopefully someday become as good as these guys,” he said of his new colleagues. “It’s a little daunting, but it’s exciting. It’s definitely going to be a very good place for me to grow as a professional.”

Outside of work, Fraser spends his time tinkering with computers, teaching himself how to code, and playing video games with his friends.
