Jeff with his wife, Sheila, and children Grace, Sarah, Marcus, and Julia

Jeff Faucon thought he wanted to be an architect. As a freshman he enrolled in the architecture program at Wentworth Institute of Technology, but quickly realized that it wasn’t quite the right fit.

“Architects are very right-side thinkers, more artistic,” he said. “But that’s not who I am. I’m an engineer, more of a left-side thinker.”

He ended up graduating with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology, which he describes as “the nuts and bolts of the building,” and after an internship that introduced him to fire protection engineering he has subsequently spent 22 years in the field. And on June 22, we officially welcomed Jeff to Harrington Group’s ever-growing team.

Jeff will utilize his myriad skills as both a senior fire protection engineer and a project manager, communicating directly with clients and keeping multiple projects on track at any given time. Just a couple weeks in and he’s already hit the ground running from his home office in North Andover, Massachusetts, where he’ll continue working remotely once the pandemic has passed.

This summer Jeff and his wife are celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary. When it’s safe to do so again, they and their four kids look forward to loading up the camper and adding to the family’s long list of cross-country road trip destinations. Past adventures have included Niagara Falls and Yellowstone National Park.
