March 2002 – Fire Protection Engineer, Jeff Harrington, was one of three persons asked to perform a peer review of a report written by Robert Wickham for the Halon Alternatives Research Corporation. The USEPA-sponsored report, “Status of Industry Efforts to Replace Halon Fire Extinguishing Agents”, denotes the progress that government and industry are making to utilize non-ozone depleting alternatives to halons in the fire protection sector.
